WQM-Redox

Redox & Temperature Measurement in Activated Sludge Plants

WQM-Redox InstrumentDescription
The WQM-Redox developed by MD Instruments Ltd., combines Redox and temperature measurement, in a LOW COST, microprocessor based monitoring unit.
The WQM-Redox unit is intended for continuous operation to monitor the Redox in activated sludge plants and produce the appropriate control or warning signals.

Applications
Typical applications of the WQM-Redox can be found in activated sludge plants to control the aeration process and also in Works Inlets. Up to 2 Redox probes can be interfaced with the unit.

Measurement Principle
The Redox measurement is based on the metal electrode, which employs Platinum. The complete measuring electrode is made by using with the Platinum indicator a standard pH reference electrode.  The Redox probe is designed of rugged construction to incorporate the  Redox electrode. The electrode is temperature compensated and displayed in mV or %.
